Presenting
Present your deck fullscreen, straight from the editor.
Starting a presentation
Click the play button in the deck header. turtledeck requests fullscreen and starts on whichever slide was active in the editor. Slides are rendered at a fixed 16:9 canvas, scaled to fit your screen.
Just want a closer look at one slide? You don't need fullscreen for that — hover its thumbnail in the slide list and click the expand icon (or press Space) to peek at it full-size, then ←/→ to browse and Escape to close.
Navigating
- Click the left or right edge of the screen.
- → ↓ Space — next slide.
- ← ↑ — previous slide.
The toolbar
Move your mouse to reveal a floating toolbar at the bottom of the screen — it fades out after a few seconds of inactivity. It shows previous/next buttons, a slide counter, an exit button, and — if the deck has any sections with slides in them — a button per section that jumps straight to its first slide.
Exiting
Press Escape, click the exit button in the toolbar, or leave fullscreen through your browser — turtledeck detects this and closes the presentation view automatically.
Speaker notes stay private: note blocks are never shown in presentation mode.
