Everything you need to know to get started with turtledeck.

What is turtledeck?

turtledeck is a canvas-free slideshow editor. Instead of dragging boxes around a canvas, you type structured content — a title and a list of bullets — and turtledeck arranges it into a slide for you. There's no AI involved: layout is handled by a deterministic system called Magic Bullet, not a model guessing at your intent.

A deck is made up of slides. Each slide is made up of blocks — pieces of content like text, headings, images, and private notes.

Quick start

  • From the dashboard, click New deck and choose Blank or a pre-structured starting point.
  • Type your first bullet, then press Enter for a new one and Tab to nest a sub-point under it. Watch the slide preview update as you type — that's Magic Bullet at work.
  • Click the play button in the deck header to present your deck fullscreen, or open the share popover to send a read-only link to anyone.
